A Journal of Transition to Primal Abundance

So here I am, a year and a half into the journey.
I’ve ridden a wild horse at full on gallop, fallen off,
gotten back on again, fallen off again,
but remained determined to gentle the wild creatures of appetites and addictions.

I’m riding this beautiful steed of rawness at a nice trot now, sometimes bumpy,
but staying put in the saddle.
One of the best encouragements has been that those times I fell off, it took so little time
to feel better once back. 2 or 3 days and I was once more trotting right along.
I’ve been so inspired by the testimonies, stories, journeys of so many people.
Some have been close friends, others only friends in this cosmic realm of the virtual.
Some are friends I’ve not met yet.
And I’m grateful that I’m not alone on this trip.

I’m still utilizing a very simple menu, not using that many recipes, but it’s nice to
know that raw can be both simple and as elaborate as our wildest dreams and imaginings.

Current menu:

Green juice in the morning and before the early evening meal.
(juice: parsley, celery, cucumber, tomato, a smidge of carrot, and a half teaspoon of spirulina)

Either 2 big beautiful raw salads with a squirt of lime and a drizzle of olive oil, or a salad in the morning and a bowl of fresh fruit of choice in the evening. If I have fruit, I hold off on the green juice until later.
(salad: lettuce, red cabbage, carrot, cucumber, tomato, avocado, walnuts, dressing, or greens like kale or spinach instead of lettuce)
(fruit bowl: banana, melons, kiwi, berries, or available fruit in season)

Almond Pate’
(Almonds, soaked and processed, with diced green onion, and diced red bell pepper, garlic, lime juice, water, olive oil, seasonings)

Snack: raw nuts and dates or figs, or just a piece of fruit or raw veggie munchables

Beverages? Only one, the very best: fresh distilled or spring water with a spritz of lime

Blessings to all and may we soon live in peace.
